The itinerary

   Day 1

   Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)

   Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. After checking in, the remainder of the day is yours to relax and acclimatize to the city’s vibrant atmosphere. You can also opt for a short exploration of Kathmandu, a city brimming with culture and history. The bustling streets, ancient temples, and fascinating sights like Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) or the Kathmandu Durbar Square are perfect for those seeking to immerse themselves in the local life.

   Day 2

   Drive to Dhulikhel (1,550m)

   After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, we embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel, a charming hill station located about 30 kilometers away from the capital. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, passing through picturesque rural landscapes, terraced fields, and small villages. Dhulikhel offers panoramic views of the Himalayan range, including peaks like Langtang, Gauri Sankar, and Mount Everest on a clear day. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel and spend the afternoon exploring the quaint town and enjoying the peaceful ambiance. You may also wish to take a short walk to get a closer look at the local culture and scenery.

   Day 3

   Explore Dhulikhel and Hike to Namobuddha (1,750m)

   Today, we take a hike to the renowned Namobuddha, a sacred Buddhist site located just a few hours away from Dhulikhel. The trek to Namobuddha is a relatively easy 3-4 hour journey through lush forests and terraced fields. Namobuddha is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists, famous for its monastery and the stunning views it offers of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After spending time at the monastery, we return to Dhulikhel, where you can relax and enjoy the serenity of this beautiful hill station.

   Day 4

   Hike to the Viewpoint and Visit the Local Village

   On this day, we venture on a short hike to a nearby viewpoint that offers a breathtaking panorama of the Himalayan peaks, the surrounding hills, and the lush green valleys. After soaking in the stunning vistas, we visit a local Newar village, where we can learn about the region’s rich cultural heritage and traditional lifestyle. The village is known for its distinct architecture, terraced farming systems, and the warm hospitality of its people. This day gives us a unique insight into rural life and the beautiful natural surroundings that make Dhulikhel a peaceful retreat.

   Day 5

   Return to Kathmandu

   After a relaxing breakfast and some final moments to enjoy the serene beauty of Dhulikhel, we drive back to Kathmandu, completing the day with a scenic 1.5 to 2-hour drive. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or directly to the airport, depending on your departure schedule. If time allows, you may want to indulge in some last-minute shopping or visit any remaining sights in Kathmandu before concluding your tour. This marks the end of a memorable trip filled with cultural experiences, breathtaking views, and the peaceful atmosphere of Dhulikhel.
