Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some rest, embark on a half-day city tour of Kathmandu. Visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, which offers stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley. Continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that boasts ancient palaces, courtyards, and temples, reflecting the city’s rich cultural heritage. In the evening, explore the vibrant streets of Thamel and enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine at a local restaurant.

Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, start your full-day exploration of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Begin with a visit to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a significant pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists. Next, visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located along the banks of the Bagmati River. In the afternoon, explore the ancient city of Patan, also known as Lalitpur, renowned for its exquisite temples, traditional Newari architecture, and the Patan Museum. Return to Kathmandu in the evening for an overnight stay.

Kathmandu to Lumbini
After an early breakfast, take a scenic flight or drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and start exploring the Lumbini Garden. Visit the Maya Devi Temple, which marks the exact spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama. Explore the Ashoka Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka during his visit to Lumbini, and the Sacred Pool (Puskarini), where the Buddha’s mother is said to have bathed before his birth. End the day by visiting monasteries built by various countries, each reflecting unique architectural styles. Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Lumbini and Kapilavastu Exploration
Start the day with a visit to Kapilavastu, the ancient Shakya Kingdom where Prince Siddhartha spent his early years. Explore the ruins of Tilaurakot, which was once the royal palace of King Suddhodhana, Buddha’s father. Visit other historical and archaeological sites around the area, such as Kudan and Gotihawa, which are significant in the life of Buddha. Return to Lumbini and spend time visiting more monasteries and meditation centers, soaking in the serene spiritual atmosphere. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk in the Sacred Garden before returning to your hotel.

Lumbini to Kathmandu and Departure
After breakfast, take a return flight or drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or exploring the city at your leisure. Visit local markets to purchase souvenirs, handicrafts, or traditional items. Our representative will then transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your Kathmandu and Lumbini Tour with unforgettable memories.
