Arrival in Kathmandu (1,396 m)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will transfer you to your hotel in the heart of the city. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is a vibrant city with a blend of ancient culture and modernity. After checking into your hotel and settling in, you will attend a trek briefing where our expert guides will explain the itinerary, introduce you to your trekking team, and answer any last-minute questions. This is also your first chance to get a taste of Nepali culture, perhaps by sampling some local cuisine or simply soaking in the lively atmosphere of the city. Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2,640 m, 3-hour trek)
Today marks the beginning of your trek to Everest Base Camp, and it begins with a scenic flight to Lukla. The 30-minute flight offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas, and as you arrive at the Lukla airport, one of the world’s most thrilling airports, you’ll be eager to start your adventure. After meeting your trekking team, you will begin the trek to Phakding. This is a relatively easy walk that takes you through charming Sherpa villages, along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, and through lush pine forests. Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m, 6-hour trek)
This morning, you will begin your trek towards Namche Bazaar, the bustling gateway to the Everest region. The trek starts with a walk along the Dudh Koshi River, and you will cross several iconic suspension bridges, each offering thrilling views of the surrounding landscape. As you ascend steep trails through dense pine forests, the air grows thinner, and you start to feel the altitude. The landscape transforms as you approach Namche Bazaar, a vibrant town that serves as the cultural and commercial hub of the Khumbu region. Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar
To ensure you adjust to the altitude and avoid altitude sickness, today is an acclimatization day. This is a perfect opportunity to explore Namche Bazaar and its surroundings. You will take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest hotels in the world, which offers panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and other towering peaks. You can also visit the Sherpa museum, where you’ll learn about the culture, history, and mountaineering achievements of the Sherpa people. The day is designed to help you acclimatize, allowing your body to adjust to the increasing altitude before continuing the trek. • Activities: Short hikes, acclimatization, and cultural immersion. • Accommodation: Tea House in Namche Bazaar.

Trek to Tengboche (3,800 m, 5-hour trek)
After a restful night in Namche Bazaar, today’s trek takes you towards Tengboche, a scenic journey through dense forests, along glacial rivers, and past small villages. As you trek, the magnificent views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and other majestic peaks accompany you along the way. The highlight of the day is a visit to the Tengboche Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in the region. Trek to Dingboche (4,410 m, 5-hour trek)
Today, you will leave Tengboche behind and continue on the trail towards Dingboche. The trail begins with a descent through forested areas before crossing several rivers, and then ascends gradually to Dingboche. Along the way, you’ll pass through more remote villages, each with its own charm and culture. As you climb higher, the views of the surrounding peaks become more awe-inspiring, with the towering faces of Nuptse, Lhotse, and Makalu coming into full view. Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Another acclimatization day is scheduled to help you adjust to the high altitude. During this day, you will have the opportunity to take short hikes to nearby ridges, from where you will enjoy panoramic views of Makalu, Lhotse, and other Himalayan peaks. These short hikes will allow you to acclimatize further without overexerting yourself, and you will return to Dingboche in the afternoon to rest. Trek to Lobuche (4,920 m, 5-hour trek)
Today’s trek will take you along the Khumbu Glacier, through glacial moraines, and past the memorial site at Chukpi Lhara, dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Mount Everest. As you make your way to Lobuche, the landscape becomes increasingly barren and rocky, offering stunning views of towering peaks like Nuptse and Pumori. Lobuche is a small village that sits at the foot of the massive Nuptse and offers a cozy stop to rest before the final push towards Everest Base Camp. • Activities: Trekking, exploring glacial terrains. • Accommodation: Tea House in Lobuche.

Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,356 m) and Return to Gorakshep (8-hour trek)
Today is the day you’ve been waiting for — the trek to Everest Base Camp. Starting early, you will follow the rugged paths of glaciers, passing through rocky terrains and moraine fields. The closer you get to base camp, the more exhilarating the journey becomes, with each step bringing you closer to the foot of the world’s highest peak. Upon reaching Everest Base Camp, you will feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment, knowing that you are standing at the foot of Mount Everest. Hike to Kalapathar (5,545 m) and Trek to Pheriche (4,240 m, 5-hour trek)
An early morning hike to Kalapathar offers you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the sunrise over Mount Everest and its surrounding peaks. The panoramic views from Kalapathar are unforgettable, with Everest, Lhotse, and other towering peaks illuminated by the first light of day. Trek Back to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m, 6-hour trek)
Today’s trek takes you back to Namche Bazaar, retracing the steps of your earlier journey. Trek Back to Lukla (2,840 m, 6-hour trek)
On the final leg of your trek, you will descend to Lukla, where your journey first began. Fly Back to Ramechhap and Drive to Kathmandu
After an early morning flight from Lukla to Ramechhap, you will drive back to Kathmandu.
