The itinerary
- 1Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our team at Tribhuvan International Airport. You will be transferred to your hotel, where you can settle in and relax. After checking into your hotel, we will have a pre-trek briefing to go over the itinerary, important travel tips, and essential safety information. During this session, our experienced guides will conduct a gear check to ensure you are fully equipped for the trek ahead. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu, visit historical sites, or simply relax before the adventure begins.

Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,610m)
After an early breakfast, we head to Tribhuvan International Airport for a scenic flight to Lukla, one of the most famous and adventurous airports in the world. Upon arrival, the excitement begins as you set foot in the heart of the Everest region. From Lukla, we start trekking towards Phakding, passing through beautiful forests and crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. The route is relatively gentle, giving trekkers a chance to acclimatize to the altitude gradually. Upon reaching Phakding, we will check into a local teahouse, where we will spend the night. The picturesque village offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, setting the tone for the days ahead.

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
The journey today takes us along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, where we continue our trek through lush forests and charming Sherpa villages. We cross several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge, before reaching the bustling town of Namche Bazaar. Namche, at an altitude of 3,440 meters, is the main gateway to the Everest region and offers a perfect opportunity for acclimatization. After checking into your teahouse, you have the option to take a short hike to the nearby Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. This evening, you can explore the town, visit local shops, or relax in preparation for the next day’s trek.

Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Today is a well-deserved rest day in Namche Bazaar. The purpose of this day is to allow your body to adjust to the higher altitude before continuing the trek. You can use the day to explore the town at a leisurely pace, visit the local market, or take short hikes to nearby viewpoints. A recommended option is to hike up to the Syangboche Airstrip or visit the Sherpa Museum, where you can learn about the rich culture and traditions of the Sherpa people. You will also enjoy stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. This day of rest is essential for your body’s acclimatization process and will help ensure a smoother trek ahead.

Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)
After a restful day in Namche Bazaar, we continue our journey towards Tengboche, located at an altitude of 3,860 meters. The trail leads through a forest of pine and rhododendron, and as you gain elevation, the views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other towering peaks become more spectacular. Upon reaching Tengboche, you will visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, an important spiritual center for the local Sherpa people. The monastery offers one of the best panoramic views of Mount Everest and its surrounding peaks. This evening, take time to soak in the tranquility of the area, enjoy the views, and reflect on the incredible journey you are undertaking.

Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)
The trek today takes us towards Dingboche, a small village located at an altitude of 4,410 meters. The landscape gradually changes as we leave behind the lush forests and enter a more alpine environment. Along the way, you will pass through small Sherpa settlements and cross rivers with picturesque views of the surrounding peaks. Once in Dingboche, you will have the opportunity to rest and acclimatize further. You can also take optional hikes to Nagarjun Hill or Chhukung for stunning views of the Ama Dablam, Makalu, and Lhotse peaks, helping your body adapt to the altitude.

Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Another acclimatization day is scheduled in Dingboche to help you adjust to the increasing altitude. You will have time to relax and explore the village or take a short hike to nearby viewpoints for more amazing views of the surrounding mountains. This day also serves as an opportunity to prepare for the higher altitudes ahead. Dingboche is a charming village surrounded by beautiful landscapes, and the acclimatization hike will give you a chance to strengthen your body and mind for the more challenging trek that lies ahead.

Trek to Lobuche (4,910m)
Today’s trek takes us from Dingboche to Lobuche, a village located at an altitude of 4,910 meters. This day is more challenging as we enter the glacial terrain of the Khumbu region. Along the way, the views of the towering peaks continue to impress, including the majestic Everest, Lhotse, and the stunning Nuptse. The trail becomes steeper as we approach Lobuche, and the air thins, making each step more demanding. However, the reward for your effort is the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Upon arrival in Lobuche, we settle into our teahouse for the night, preparing for the next leg of the journey.

Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and Gorak Shep (5,164m)
Today is the culmination of the trek as we make our way to Everest Base Camp (EBC). The journey to EBC is challenging, but the excitement of reaching the foot of Mount Everest makes every step worthwhile. Along the way, you will witness the famous Khumbu Icefall and be in awe of the sheer magnitude of the Everest massif. After reaching Everest Base Camp, take time to celebrate the achievement and soak in the breathtaking views. From here, we continue our trek to Gorak Shep, where we will stay overnight. Gorak Shep, located at 5,164 meters, offers spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, and Pumori.

Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m), Descend to Pheriche (4,240m)
This morning, we begin our hike to Kala Patthar, a rocky outcrop that offers one of the best panoramic views of Mount Everest. The sunrise from Kala Patthar is a truly magical experience, with Everest, Nuptse, and the Khumbu Glacier bathed in golden light. After spending time taking in the awe-inspiring views, we begin our descent to Pheriche, a village located at 4,240 meters. The descent is rewarding as you get to enjoy the stunning Himalayan vistas once again, and it offers a chance to rest and recover from the high altitudes.

Trek to Namche Bazaar
We now retrace our steps back to Namche Bazaar, passing through the beautiful Khumbu Valley. The descent is much easier, and you will have a new perspective on the surrounding landscapes as we pass through villages like Pangboche and Tengboche. Upon reaching Namche, you will have a chance to relax and reflect on the incredible journey you’ve just completed, sharing stories with fellow trekkers and celebrating the accomplishment of reaching Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar.

Trek to Lukla
From Namche Bazaar, we begin our final leg of the trek, heading back to Lukla. The return journey allows us to savor the last views of the majestic mountains while retracing the steps taken earlier. Upon arrival in Lukla, we will celebrate the end of our trekking adventure with a farewell evening, reflecting on the journey’s highs and challenges.

Fly to Kathmandu
After an early breakfast, we board the flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. The scenic flight offers spectacular views of the Himalayan range, and as you land in Kathmandu, you’ll have a chance to relax and reflect on your amazing trekking experience. You will be transferred to your hotel, where you can enjoy a leisure day, shop for souvenirs, or visit more of the cultural sights in Kathmandu.

Departure from Kathmandu
This is your final day in Kathmandu. You will have free time for last-minute shopping or simply relaxing before your departure. Our team will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home, marking the end of a memorable adventure in the Everest region.
